Wild, raw and wonderfully unpolished
Agar Farm sits between open meadow, winding inland creeks and the saltmarshes of the North Norfolk coast. It is quiet, spacious and alive with birds, insects, changing tides and shifting light.
This is not a manicured holiday park. It is a simple, low-impact place to camp close to nature. The ground can be uneven, the weather has a say and the landscape is allowed to remain itself. That is a large part of its charm — but it may not be the right experience for everyone.
If you enjoy big skies, quiet evenings, wood smoke, muddy feet and waking up somewhere that still feels genuinely wild, you should feel at home here.

Preparing for 2027
Our first camping season taught us a great deal about what works at Agar Farm and what we can make better.
During the closed season, we’re working on:
Improved landscaping and another round of wildflower meadow establishment after the 2026 weather worked against our original seeding.
A clearer and more attractive layout for tents, campervans and motorhomes.
Better toilet and shower facilities.
A simpler booking system, with clearer arrival, check-in and departure information.
Better information before booking, so every guest understands the wild, low-impact experience Agar Farm offers.
We’ll share progress through the website, email and Instagram, with full 2027 dates and booking details expected in March.

A note from Lisa
Agar Farm has always been our family’s piece of paradise.
Our children grew up here – playing on the Beach (Edith & Myla Photos) wandering the meadows, swimming in the creeks, watching the seasons roll through in their own quiet rhythm. It’s where we all learned to slow down without even realising it.
As time’s gone on, we’ve felt a strong pull to protect this land properly – not just preserve it, but actively improve it. To let nature reclaim space. To encourage wildlife back in. To do things gently and with intention.
Becoming a conservation-focused farm feels like the most natural next step.
We’re starting small.
Beginning by sharing Agar Farm for summer camping only – giving others the chance to experience the same calm, freedom and connection we’ve always found here.
If you come, you’re not just staying somewhere beautiful, you’re part of the beginning of something longer-term – a place shaped by care, restraint and respect for the land.

Things to Do
On site and directly accessible
· Private pontoon access onto Agar Creek.
· Paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing when tides and conditions allow.
· Wild swimming for experienced swimmers who understand tidal water.
· Creek routes leading towards Blakeney and Morston Quays.
· Birdwatching across the marshes and meadows.
· Sunset fires where permitted, stargazing and proper quiet.
Explore further afield
· Blakeney Point and its seal colony by local boat trip.
· Coastal walks through some of Norfolk’s most unspoilt landscapes.
· Cycling along quiet lanes and coastal routes.
· Local pubs, seafood, shops and villages within easy reach.
The creeks are tidal and unsupervised. Guests are responsible for checking tides and conditions, using suitable equipment and supervising children at all times.
How it Works
Seasonal by design
We open for a limited number of days each year, helping the farm remain peaceful and giving the land time to recover.
Bring what you love
Tents, campervans and motorhomes are welcome. Full 2027 pitch options and facilities will be confirmed when booking opens.
Know before you arrive
The improved booking process will clearly explain your pitch, facilities, arrival route, check-in time, departure time and the essentials to bring.
Keep it low impact
Respect the land and wildlife, keep noise low, follow the fire and water-safety guidance, leave no trace and take only memories.
Before you Book
Agar Farm is best suited to independent campers who are comfortable outdoors and genuinely want a simple experience close to nature.
Please keep in mind:
· This is a wild coastal meadow, not a level, fully serviced holiday park.
· Conditions change with the weather and tides.
· Facilities are deliberately straightforward, although they are being improved for 2027.
· The creeks and pontoon are unsupervised and used at your own risk.
· Quiet, wildlife and consideration for other guests are central to the experience.
